EcoTrippin' has a unique connection with the adrenaline sports lifestyle through the creator's experience as a former principal of Tough Guy Productions (TGP). With TGP Andy promoted athletes, organized and promoted events, and produced action videos focused towards the core of the outdoor industries. Andy is in a position of respect in the outdoor sports industry that has been earned through long years of professional relationships. In the extreme sports world, traditionally a very tight-knit, exclusive community, no door is closed to him.

The extreme sports are always looking for new, positive ways to get exposure. As Andy traveled the world talking with athletes of super-human abilities, he found that many of them shared a common goal—a healthy environment. As a certified green building specialist, Andy understands integrated systems and technologies, and is keenly interested in connecting the population at large with an accessible idea of "Green."
