how it started

How ecotrippin startedAndy is passionate about the environment, outdoor sports, education and travel. When the opportunity came to pitch an idea for a show, it made perfect sense to put all of these together. Once Eco Trippin' had developed its core concept -- one environmental issue and 2-3 outdoor sports per episode -- Andy contacted his best friend from 3rd grade, Corey Carthew. Corey's professional acting experience, along with his degree in Natural Resource Management made him a natural fit to host the show. Their initial outline evolved into a storyboard presentation, which became the true catalyst for the LLC, the trademarks, and the first episode. Everyone in the television, film, and sports industries that saw the storyboard absolutely and unequivocally wanted to be part of this project. Then, Andy and Corey went about securing all aspects of the project, from a Grammy-winning engineer, talented co-host Supatra Hanna to expert financial advice. Eco Trippin' is now a full production company with the ability to produce endless episodes in every corner of the globe.
